ISSUMBOSHI

Once upona time there was aold couple who did not have
a child. They pray to god every day. One day, they looked a
crying baby who looked just like a little finger.

Grand father : Look that, this child must be a gift from

god.Thanks to god

Grand father&mother : We will call this child issumboshi

They raised issumboshi with much care, but

issumboshicouldnot grow up. His friend always bullied him
because issumboshi just like a little finger. But ,issumboshi
never felt sad. One day,

Issumboshi : I will go to the capital to study and

become a respectable person. Then I will come back.

Grand mother : We worried about you, how can you

survive with your little body ??

Issumboshi : Dont worry I can take care of

myself

At once issumboshi prepared for his trip, he prepared

with the high spirit. And issumboshi farewell to grandparents.

pray to god

At last issumboshi reached the capital city and he arrived

at the place.

the princess.

And then issumbhoshi successfully against demons.But

one demon, who was left behind.

Demon : I am so sory, issumboshi.

Issumboshi : Do you want me to stab your eyes,

too?

Demon : Please, dont. this is magic hammer that

will grant you a wish. I give to you, so please spare me.

And the demon ran off in a hurry.

Princess : Thank you, issumboshi. You safe my

life.
Issumboshi : Princess, please wave this magic
hammer and make a wish that I may become big.

Princess : Mayissumboshi become big!!!

And then, issumboshi grew into a nice young man. When

they back, princess asked king to marry issumboshi. Then they
got married, and invited grandparents to live with them. They
lived happily ever after.

STORY
