Verify Setup
Afteryousetuptheprinter,printseveraltestcardstodeterminehowwellthelaminatorapplies
materialtothecard.YoucanprinttestcardsfromtheCardPrinterDriver(refertotheprinters
DriverGuide),fromtheprinterLCDpanel(refertoPrintaTestCardonpage 20),orfromPrinter
Manager(refertotheprintersInstallationandAdministratorsGuide).Youmayneedtoprint
multipletestcardstomakesurethattheoverlayispositionedcorrectly.Thecardstock,thecard
design,andtheprintersenvironmentallcanaffecttheappearanceofcards.
Whenevaluatingacard,makesurethat:

materialfromthecartridges.
b. Ifparticlesstillremainonthecartridgeandinsideofthelaminator,useavacuumcleaner
withasmallplastichoseattachmenttocarefullyremovetheparticles.Alsocleanany
remainingparticlesfromtheoutputhopper.
HINTS&TIPS
Ifthecleaningcardisnotpulledintothelaminator,thecardisnotinthecorrectposition.The
cleaningcardmustbelocatedundertherollersofthecardexitslotinsidetheoutputhopper.
Attheendofthelaminatorcleaningcycle,thecardcansticktotherollersintheoutput
hopper.Pullonthecardtoremoveit.
Discardthelaminatorcleaningcardafteroneuse.
Avoidcontactwiththeheatedroller,whichcontainssensitiveelectroniccomponents.
Ifcleaningthelaminatordoesnotsolvetheproblem,contactyourserviceproviderfor
