CPU heatsink and memory installation instructions:
Step 1:
Please pull up the ZIF lock on the LGA775 CPU socket gently and pull up the security plate
on the CPU socket. If you use K8 939, please pull up the ZIF lock.
Note: Please do not touch the fins in the socket to prevent static electricity damaging the
socket.

(For LGA 775)

(For K8 939)
Step 2:
Hold the CPU and match up the two indentations on the CPU and the socket. Gently place
the CPU into the socket.

(For LGA 775)

(For K8 939)
Step 3:
After correctly installing the CPU, the LGA775 socket needs to be secured by the security
plate, the pull down the lever until the level locks back into place. Finally, spread an
extremely thin layer of thermal paste on top of the CPU surface.

(For LGA775)

(For K8 939)
Step 4:
Please take the Thermaltake CL-P0092 Silent 775 out of the box as well as all installation
equipment.

About HTPC Heatsinks:

HTPCs not only need to look great, they need to be able to
dissipate heat well and be silent at the same time. The choice of
heatsinks is a very important decision.
The usual household applications are 25dB, in order to keep the
noise as quiet as possible. The Thermaltake CL-P0092 Silent 775
is built for both silence and performance, rated at 21dB, being our
heatsink of choice for HTPCs.

Step 5:
Please align the backplate with the 4 screw holes on the back of the motherboard, with the
black side of the backplate on the motherboard.

Step 6:
Use a screw driver to screw the 4 screws through the motherboard and into the backplate.
Connect the 3-pin connector from the fan to the CPU fan header on the motherboard.
Step 7:
Take the RAM and check the motherboard manual regarding compatibility and installation
locations. Please snap the RAM into the correct RAM slot accordingly.

Chassis and Power Supply:

The outer appearance of the HTPC is extremely important. The chassis need to blend in with
the elegant home theatre environment. The Thermaltake Bach and Mozart are your best
choice.
The Bach has a fashionable silver version and an elegant black version for the consumers to
choose from while the Mozart is offered in a high-class blend of black and silver. The detailed
and silky smooth chassis design and the user-friendly interior setup will bring the users a
completely different and modern system building experience. No one should worry about
getting a useless chassis that will not be enough for your robust home theatre setup. With the
state-of-the-art Bach chassis, your home theatre system will never be the same

HTPC Power Supply:
Power supplies are measured in watts. Depending on how much power your computer
draws which is dependent on the components inside, the HTPC power supplies not only need
to be high-performance, they also need to be very quiet. Recording high-definition video,
audio, playing DVD, and outputting high quality audio all need the voltages coming from the
power supply to be extremely stable.
The usual HTPC are recommended to use power supplies above 400W in order to provide
sufficient and stable power for the system. The Thermaltake Purepower 460W W0068 is one
of the most suitable power supplies for this application. While maintaining the power up at
460 watts, it is also quiet and solid. The performance and silence of the Thermaltake
Purepower 460W W0068 is an ideal choice for the HTPC.
