The Diocese of Westminster Academy Trust has overall responsibility
for Safeguarding across the Trust. Within The Douay Martyrs Catholic
Secondary School this responsibility is delegated to the Governing Body
and Headteacher for Safeguarding within the school community. The
team responsible day to day who report back to the Headteacher are:
Mr Eugene OReilly, Deputy Headteacher is the Lead Safeguarding
Officer for the school
Supported by Ms Lisa Considine Deputy Lead Safeguarding Officer and
Miss Elizabeth Meade Safeguarding Office.
Mrs Dianne Smith Safeguarding Officer who is responsible for the
administration of the DBS checking and vetting scheme within the
school.
Mrs Elaine Tabony is the designated Safeguarding Governor for the
school who works with the Safeguarding Team.
