The skills that I used in this artifact are: I used critical thinking skills and problem solving skills
in order to not only figure out the pattern in the sequence, but to also figure out the equation that
is used in order to find the equation to find the nth term. It also took basic multiplication/division
and equation solving skills.
I could use these skills for other things like: I will be able to use these skills everywhere. Critical
thiinking and problem solving are important skills for getting into any job, or just being
successful in general. Basic multiplication, and being able to solve an alebraic equation are
important in many plecaes as well. For things on a dail basis even, like budegtting and taxes.
My strengths in this artifact are: My strengths were doing the math for the equation. I believe
math is one of my strong suits. I also worked really well and determined when trying to find the
equation.
My challenges I faced in this artifact are: Identifying the exact equation for the sequence. We
didnt get much clarification, which made it more challenging, but fun. I got most of it, but we
needed a little help from Mrs.Ware for the very last part.
What conclusions/generalizations are you able to make about the learning? Provide clear
explanations and sufficient evidence (cite sources used). I am able to conclude that this sequence
is really common. I think that it is over complicated because of the equation that is involved in
finding a specific term in the sequence, but it is actually something we all learn from a young
age.
