Mission:
At The Seashore Theatre, we are dedicated to producing extraordinary theatre that embraces the
splendor of Cape Cod and its community; to make each experience as unforgettable as the
previous; to educate all patrons through their experience with us, so that they may take the
information and spread the knowledge in their own creative ways. We are dedicated to
incorporating the beaches to help create an innovative theatrical environment that is comfortable
and memorable for all.
Vision:
To embrace the history of Cape Cod in a theatrical fashion, while also adhering to the beauty and
naturalness of the beaches; to enrich the lives of the community, both local and tourist, through
emotionally captivating productions relatable to ages young and old.
Manifesto:
We believe in our location, respecting and embracing the rich history of the Cape by producing at
least one play a season that deals with some aspect of Cape Cod.
We believe in using the experiences at the theatre as a means of educating as well as entertaining.
We believe in offering as many opportunities to artists of all genres to share their work in a
productive, beneficial, and constructive environment.
We believe in a strong sense of community togetherness, using the theatre to bring people
together both physically and emotionally in a positive manner.
We believe in giving back to the community, both through monetary and volunteer means
because without them we would not exist.
We believe in the natural stage and the traditional stage: we have the environment, why not use
it.
We believe in dedication, success does not come from giving half of yourself to a production.

The Seashore Theatre, Incorporated
Case For Support
Youre gonna fall in love with Old Cape Cod - Patti Page, Old Cape Cod
Cape Cod is home to a plethora of live entertainment, rich history, beautiful beaches and
of course the famous Kennedy lineage. With summer tourists abundant every year, nearly
doubling the population, it is no wonder that there is a yearning for more opportunities of
enriching activities for all generations. The Seashore Theatre will be able to help with that
yearning. Through offerings of live theatrical productions, educational outreach programs,
lessons, local entertainment and the salty air summer breeze, The Seashore Theatre will certainly
not disappoint any who attend one of its many occasions.
Our Mission
Our Strategy
Through use of both local and state-wide donations and sponsorships, the Seashore
Theatre will be well involved with the community, and making sure that they give back to the
beautiful home where it resides. With opportunities from places like Cape Cod 5 local banking,
and Shaws Supermarkets, The Seashore Theatre will soon become a name that Cape Codders,
local and tourist alike, will never forget. We will allow for local bands to use our stage, and we
will produce original and existing theatrical productions for all ages.
We will advertise through radio and social media as well as the local establishments in
the area. Cape Cod businesses care about keeping things local, and keeping things original; this
is exactly what we are aiming for as well. We will host fundraising events for ourselves and for
other businesses in need, using the art of theatre and our performance space to create an
interesting and innovative atmosphere to keep things comfortable and fun.
Our Goals
The Seashore Theatre aims to build a stage that will be able to house events such as
bands, theatrical performances, dances, contests, pageants and more that is located directly on
the beach, exposed to the ocean air. Through the donations of many patrons on Cape Cod
dedicated to the Arts and with the help or organizations both statewide and localized, The
Seashore Theatre will make this stage a reality. Working closely with the Town of Barnstable
Wildlife Control, we will ensure that the stage is safe to the surrounding wildlife, and will not
intrude on any plant life, not destruction to the beaches themselves. In time, we also hope to join
with the Cape & Islands Theatre Coalition to fully establish ourselves as a primary theatre on the
Cape, and work closely with them to support and continue funding of the arts all throughout the
Cape & Islands.
We will ask for original pieces to be written and submitted to our playwrighting festivals
for the season, and they will be in line with Cape & Islands and Massachusetts history. This is
important to us because we want to bring back the beauty of the Cape with the power of the
Theatre. We want our community to be involved, asking for internships and volunteers always.
We need you; Fall in love with Us. Fall in love with Old Cape Cod.
