Creating FG code in MDM portal

(RING Code Assignment to Kraft Finished Goods)

Step 1: Log on to MDM RING portal:

Step 2: Click on the Product tab:

Create Item Requests for new Kraft Item Code (KIC7)
for every level of a new Product
Create an EACH (Consumer Unit) Request

Log onto Global Master Data (GMD) Portal

Select Product > Create > Item Request

Under KIC-7 number insert the Reference code shared by RDQ. Once done press
enter.

Below enlisted material details will appear, select the tab and click on Duplicate.

Organization of ownership will always be IND.

Product Type will be based on the type of KIC 7 code created i.e. EACH, INNER and
CASE. To change the type need to change using Unit Descriptor as Each, Inner and
Case.
