Time Instructional Procedures and Strategies


5 mins Beginning the Lesson
Opening prayer by the teacher.
Greeting (how do they like the place, the food etc)
Telling the Agenda,
1.The purpose of the field trip (to appreciate Gods creation and people around us, to
develop collaboration skills)
2.Daily Debrief on todays activity (work book) and sharing
3.Assign students tasks (Photographer, Attendance taker, Leader and Task Manager)
Developing the Lesson
Ask some students how they feel about todays activity (Trekking: conservation
education)
Working on Daily Debrief work book.
1.Read the Scripture together
10 mins Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 (Two are better off than one,.)
2.Read the first and second guiding questions to the students, give them 2 mins to
think and write in the workbook.
3.Call on 2 students to share their answers.
4.Read 1Corinthians 12:12, 26-27 (there is one body but it has many parts) to
students and the same thing will apply to question 3. (think and write)
5. 2 students will share their answers
6. Read another verse 1 Peter 4:10 (As each has received a gift, use it to serve one
another.) and questions 4 and 5 will follow as usual. (think and write)
7. Another 2 students will give answers
8. Read the last Scripture to the students 2 Tim :7 and ask them to reflect on
questions 6 and 7.
9. Ask each one of them how they think

Closing the Lesson


- Teacher will praise them for what they did today (trekking)
- Encourage them to work together, respect and help each other
- Teacher will assign tasks to four students (Photographer, Attendance
taker, Task Manager and Leader) and remind them that they will have to take
turn
- Teacher will ask one student to give thanks and pray for the group
