The New Normal

After several months of feeling dazed and confused, life is beginning to look and feel a lot more
normal. In the middle of the transition, I often questioned the timing of our arrival because there
wasnt a lot to do. (A bit of humor and irony here as I am a big on communicating to teams
that they should come with a heart to learn about the culture and not focus on doing). I can
now see that Gods timing is perfect. The girls began school in January after months of attending
church in the same building where they attend school. They were very familiar with many of the
teachers because of the time we spent at church which made going to a new school much less
scary. Emmas teacher, Miss Veronica, is her best friend from churchs mother. Selahs teacher,
Miss Vicky, has been a blessing to our family.

God has been faithful to answer our prayers for our girls. Emma was elected class President the first
week of school. She is so happy and her Spanish is progressing beautifully. We met a missionary
family nearby who has a home for special needs children who came out to talk with us about
Selahs needs. The family has 10 children, 5 adopted with special needs and have been serving in
Guatemala for 6 years. Their daughter, Krishauna, is a special education teacher and is beginning a
ministry to equip local schools to work with children with special needs. She has agreed to work with
our family and the teachers at Wisdom & Grace School to help us meet Selahs needs. We have
hired a teacher to work 1:1 with Selah for a few hours daily to reinforce areas where she is behind
such as reading and writing. I would just like to encourage anyone who wonders, like me, if God will
provide for our needs that it is His delight to provide for us.

And my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

Until we have the finances to break ground on the new building,
Vinicio will continue to assist with projects in the existing building. He
has been making the classrooms which double as the church space a
more comfortable environment by adding fans and drywall to make
the cold and heat more bearable.
I completed the vision trip training manual for teams that will be
working with us. This month started off with 2 teams back to back from
New Jersey and Delaware. The NJ team presented a training to the
church about evangelism. We spent time in the community sharing
the gospel and many gave their lives to the Lord. The team from
Delaware was a group of nurses and they gave presentations on DONATE:
dental health and prenatal health. We were blessed by both teams

and are grateful for their growing love and commitment to our
ministry.
COMMISSION TO EVERY
It was so fun to visit the land of the future school with the team and NATION
reflect on all that God has done. Last year at this time, we were PO BOX 291307
praying for Rudis siblings to sell the land. Now the land belongs to KERRVILLE, TX 78029-1307
Rudi. We praise God that next year we will see the start of a new
school on the now empty land.

Imagine 1000 is coming to Atlanta!

What are you waiting for? Im so glad you asked! For our first phase
of construction we still need $250,000. With $400,000, we will have
enough room to build for 400 students. The total cost of the project is
about $2 million. The Board members of Wisdom & Grace Ministries
have been holding an Imagine 1000 fundraiser for the past 2 years.
