APPLICATION FOR INDUSTRIAL TRAINING

With reference to the above matter, on behalf on my student, I would like to apply for industrial
training position at your premise.

The candidates who is very keen for industrial training is:

i. Mohamad Ashraff Bin Anuar

This student is currently in her final year of study for Diploma in Industrial Chemistry (DIC) at
University Technology MARA Perlis. She will be expected to commence training from 9th June 2014 to
5th September 2014.

For your information, DIC is a course which combines two main disciplines namely Analytical
Chemistry and Chemical Engineering. The students have been exposed to various analytical
techniques in Analytical instrument such as Ultraviolet-Visible Spectrometer (UV-Vis), Gas
Chromatography (GC), High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), Atomic Absorption
Spectroscopy (AAS) and Infra-Red Spectroscopy (IR). The students have also been taught the
principles of Chemical Engineering such as Unit Operations, Fluid Mechanics and Thermodynamics.
The diversity of these courses enables the students to be placed either in the laboratory/quality
control unit or in the processing unit.
