Classroom Newsletter March 20, 2017

Asalamou Alykoum, during the week of March 20, we will begin week 24 in our
curriculum. During this week we will review the letters Ii and Dd the sounds of the
letters, and the alteration words. We will continue to recognize the number 6, the color
white, and the shape of the rectangle and we will count from 1-30. Also during this week
the children will explore different ways to fit objects together and take apart, understand
how to add and subtract from groups and sets, demonstrate hand-eye coordination, show
expression of emotions, understand how to express themselves through art, show pride
in their work, demonstrate classroom graphs and be able to express an understanding of
their operations. The children will also be able to follow simple directions during transition
times and teacher directed activities, understand the difference between the numbers 1
through 6, recognize simple and complex patterns and be able to identify the amount of
