opportunityallowedhertoestablishexcellentrelationshipswiththestudentsandstaff .Ms. Jackson
consistently presented well-prepared and pertinent lessons. The goals and
objectives were clear and understood by the students. All lesson activities
reflected the identified objectives. Ms. Jackson was prepared for all her lessons
and demonstrated an awareness of student needs through her instruction. She
taught both Science and Social Studies units as well as Language Arts and Math
and utilized a variety of resources to enhance the curriculum. She incorporated
technology into her lessons on a daily basis and this served to enhance her
instruction. She should be commended for her planning and preparation.

Ms. Jackson created a strong learning environment. She consistently made

her expectations clear to the students in a respectful manner. The students were
very responsive to her because she developed a safe learning environment for all
students. She developed procedures for dealing with student behavior by
effectively using the established classroom management program. Ms. Jackson
provided a safe classroom in which students of all abilities could access the
curriculum.

Ms. Jackson developed relationships with every student in the class. She
greeted students each day with a smile and an openness that allowed the
students to know they could approach her with questions or concerns. She took
the time to observe and get to know everyone. This created a learning
environment of mutual respect and understanding. Ms. Jackson consistently
adhered to school district policies and standards. She communicated effectively
with all school personnel. She attended professional development meetings as
well as her weekly seminar classes. She wrote effective lesson plans and always
presented herself in a professional manner. She will certainly be an asset to the
teaching profession. It is with great pleasure that I recommend Ms. Ashley
Jackson for a teaching position.
