JOB DESCRIPTION: Hands on project work responsible for providing engineering support in the creation and the
development of new medical device products (invasive and non-invasive)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Undertakes and successfully completes simple or basic project/product development tasks
to include any of the following: writing and/or verifying specications, maintaining product/process documentation,
testing processes, equipment, raw materials and product, and validating equipment and processes.
May assist with inventing / creating concepts and designs/approaches for new products/processes/test methods.

Designs, procures, and fabricates simple tooling and xtures.

Utilizes CAD/Solidworks as required while completing assignments.
Designs and performs engineering tests and experiments.
Fabricates and assembles prototype devices
Applies the technical development and product development process methodologies.
Prepares standard reports/documentation to communicate results to technical community.
 Performs design verication and validation testing.
Performs basic statistical analyses as necessary.
Prepare and/or revise engineering documentation.
Trains with technicians on new processes and/or test procedures.
Identies areas for improvement, suggests solutions, and submits idea records.
