I am writing this letter to express my interest for an internship within

the District Attorneys office. While searching resources for a different
opportunity within the history field, I discovered a possible internship
through the assistance and recommendation by Chris Jancula. I am
currently a senior at Pennsylvania State University where I am majoring
in history. An internship within the District Attorneys office would not
only build my skills, but would also help me to further understand the
many branches of our judicial system.

I have a great deal of research experience in my field. In the

classroom, I have gained the knowledge and skills I need to apply to
any future position I may hold. I am hoping to further define these
skills through an internship in your office.

I believe that I would be an asset to the program and hope you agree
that my qualifications seem to be a match. If so, I would appreciate the
