Rohingya Crisis and Cultural diversity

The AEC (Asean Economic communities) consolidate the economic

integration of the region and the achievement or the objectives of the AEC are

trade, investment and labor. However, there are lots of crisis in Asean and one of

interesting crisis is Rohingya. Back to the past, The British makes Rohingya to be

they slave and after the British does not want interests or benefit from them; the

British left them at the bordering states between Bangladesh and Myanmar. And

that is the starter of the crisis. This essay will show the problem of Rohingya and

cultural diversity between them which this essay main point will be my opinion

on those of the problem.

Myanmar does not wants Rohingya group to be in the country, they harass

Rohingya group by bully them and dont give nationality to Rohingya. Myanmar

does not want Rohingya to be in the country because Myanmar is Buddhism

country and eighty-eight percent of the population is Buddhism. Buddhism

people in Myanmar dont like and dont want Islam to be in their country. For me,

I think that the main point of this problem is the cultural diversity between

Myanmar and Rohingya. Finally, Rohingya banish form Myanmar and they have

to migration with none destination. The Rohingya are unacceptable by most of

the country and they dont have the land to live they have to live in the ocean.

Some of them die because of the poverty and lack of supplies. Nowadays, some

of them have accepted by some of the country some country may take 100 or

200 of them but compare to the population of Rohingya group there are still have

lots of them which not have land to live and also not have a nationality.

The lack of respect for people who are different for cultural diversity is one

of the problems which lots of the country have this problem. Mostly in AEC a lot

of country contains Buddhism, Christianity, Islam and some other religion. In

Myanmar, there is lots of cultural diversity which include Buddhism, kachin,

Islam, Hindu, Tribal religions, other and some of them have no religion. Right now

some of the small ethnic do not accepted by Myanmar government which it

makes the cultural diversity in their country. I think that in the past, governments

of Myanmar instill its citizens to be Buddhism. So, most of them are majority but

not as much as Thai they still have a lot of other religion which are not

Buddhism. I think that the cultural diversity crisis start when Buddhism in

Myanmar wants Myanmar to be country for Buddhism. However, from the

passage before Myanmar still has a lots of other religion not same as Thai that

has 95 percent Buddhism which we can call that Thai is Buddhism country but in

Myanmar I think that around 75 of them are Buddhism which it is hard to be a

Buddhism country. From this cultural diversity crisis I think that it is one of the

main reasons which make Myanmar an undeveloped nation.

From the Rohingyang crisis, there are lots of ways to solve both of the

problems. According to The Huffington Post has written that An estimated

100,000 Rohingya have since fled the country to escape violence and

persecution. As in the article has wrote, it can indicate that the main reason that

Rohingya cannot live in Myanmar is because of the violence and persecution

from Myanmar citizen and Myanmar government. Myanmar government attack

Rohingya by offend Rohingya human right by denies Rohingya access to basic

public services, education and health care; moreover, the government of

Myanmar has destroy Rohingya home and denies responsible of it. According to

Independent website has written that The Burmese government denies being

responsible for a spate of arson attacks on homes, instead suggesting the

Rohingya set the fires themselves and according to The Huffington Post has

written that Myanmars government systematically denies Rohingya access to

basic public services, education and health care. The term Rohingya was
absent from this years landmark census, and most Rohingya have been denied

citizenship. From those two of the evidence can show and represent those ideas

which we can know how to solve it. So, the ways to solve this problem is

Myanmar citizen and government should try to accept Rohingyang and stop the

violence and persecution according to human right. Myanmar government should

let them into the country and give work or something to them that can make

benefit to the country, in this way it will be benefit to both Myanmar and

Rohingya. For the cultural diversity between Myanmar and the Rohingya group, I

think that it is one of the reason that lead to the violent between them which if

we can solve those problem, the cultural diversity problem will decrease.

In the conclusion, the Rohingya crisis which it is the problem between in

Myanmar and Rohingya group that has been the British slave before. They have

no place to live, no nationality and none of the human right. The main reasons

which make this problem is because of the cultural diversity between Myanmar

citizen and society and The Rohingya group. The way to solve those of the

problem is Myanmar citizen and government should try to accept Rohingya as a

human right or let them come in to the country find something for them to work

that Myanmar can get benefit from it. The Rohingya crisis has been problem in

the Asean Economic Community for a very long time and this problem never be

solved. Right now, it is the time that we should fix the Rohingya crisis and

cultural diversity between them. As Rohingya group is also a human and as a

human they should get the nationality, country, treatment, supplies and

anything as a human because it is the human right. Hope that the Rohingya

crisis will be fix and let them be one of Myanmar Nationality ,so that Asean

Economics Community will be out of Rohingya crisis.
