MAJOR ACHIEVEMENTS

A. PERSONAL/PROFESSIONAL STAFF DEVELOPMENT

Attended the following seminar:

Attend the BU Orientation on the Job Classification held on

March 11, 2016 at University Hall, Baliuag University.
Annual BUKLOD Service Award as Committee member held
on February 11, 2016 at Baliuag University Gym.
Committee member in seminar entitled Increasing Library
Presence through Low Cost Library Marketing held on
December 12, 2015 at University Hall, Baliuag University.

B.PHYSICAL FACILITIES

C. PUBLIC SERVICES
Encoded and produced cards for the card catalog (High School &
Elem. School Library).
Prepared Library Bulletin Board Display for High School & Elem.
School.
Weeded books and transferred to relegation room.
Helped and substituted my co-librarian in services if they
needed.
Supervised day to day operation in the High School library.
Recording and monitoring of Student Assistants' attendance.
Evaluated Student Assistants' performances assigned to me.
Prepared and submitted damage reports to Physical Plant for
immediate actions.
Prepared and processed library cards for students.
Received communications from other offices for library room
requisition.

Prepared and disseminated programs for Story Telling hosted
as part of the 2015 Book Week Celebration.
Organized activities related to National Book Week 2015.

Catalogued, encoded and displayed new materials for High
School and Elementary collections.
Maintained cleanliness inside and outside of the library.

E. AREA CONCERNS

The library is in the ground floor and at the 2nd floor, the
students classroom, the ceiling that connects the 1st and
2nd floor was made of wood, the problem is you can hear the
stomping of students feet and it distracts the library staffs
and researchers because of the noises it created. It is also
dangerous because there is a possibility that the ceiling
might fall down also the lights and ceiling fan.
Wooden shelves are some termite infested that it will be
dangerous to the collections. It is necessary to replace them
with steel shelves, if not possible repair and repaint those
wooden shelves to preserve library materials.
The new library location is small, inadequate of space for new
collections and the users.

F. RECOMMENDATIONS

To attend more profession related seminars especially now for

the new K-12 Education System.
More seminars to attend to keep track of the latest trends
and issues regarding cataloging and classification.
Change all infested wooden shelves into steel shelves, if
possible.
The library need more space for the future collections and
users.
Expand the High School Library for the library users &
collection.
