I was very thrilled to see the advertisement on your website of an opening for an
elementary teacher in your district. Westfield Washington Schools has earned a positive
reputation throughout the community, alumni, current students and staff, and social media. It
would be such an honor to teach students based on your vision and mission: to provide
meaningful and engaging work in the pursuit of profound learning and to be a part of the world-
class learning organization focused on continuous quality growth for all. I would be forever
grateful to serve for a district that maintains high educational standards and provides
opportunities for students personal growth.

Ever since I started my schooling in elementary education, I have been passionate about a
few things. I want to be an inspiration to my students and I want them to look up to me and
remember my name throughout their life. I don't want learning styles to be an ongoing issue in
my classroom. I plan to teach in every style I possibly can to accommodate all students. Lastly, I
want to instill a sense of self-worth among all students. I have dedicated my career to each of
these goals, as my resume will prove.

I cannot wait for my future as an educator, inspirer, role model, colleague and
professional. I have never wanted to do anything else with my life and plan to make the best of
any situation in my classroom. Teaching is an experience only special people get to endure, and
I, fortunately, get to be one of those people. It has been a lifelong dream of mine to teach and
inspire young, growing, and eager children, and I will be forever grateful for that opportunity. I
look forward to meeting with you in the near future.
