Saturday 1st Pray for teachers and students as they start the Easter Monday 10th Psalm 107:1
Psalm 107:1 "Give thanks to the Lord for He is good, His
holidays. Pray for the teachers in our church, that this time would be restful
and a time to recharge their batteries.
Sunday 2nd Pray for our service today, for Ian and all those involved.
Pray that we would be listening for the Lord and ready to act on what we
hear. Pray for JAM as they share fun and fellowship. Continue to seek
God's guiding as Diaconate nominations open today, pray that those God
seeks to serve on the Diaconate will have a real sense of His leading.
Monday 3rd Thank God for our leadership team. Pray for Ian, John,
Christine, Bill and David as they meet tonight.
Tuesday 4th Thank God that we have the freedom to meet together
openly and without fear. Pray for our small groups meeting this week.
Wednesday 5th Singing at Dovecot today. Thank God for the great time
we had last time, for the new folk that came and the willingness of staff to
bring folk down to the lounge. Pray for a growing sense of friendship and
community and a real blessing on all who come.
Thursday 6th Pray for the Building Group meeting tonight. Pray for a real
sense of clarity about the next steps in the process, a real sense of God's
leading. Proverbs 3:5-6.
Friday 7th Thank God for our BMS partners. Continue praying for Victor
and Caroline in Guinea, the MacFarlanes in Italy and Abi and Ally and their
family in the UK.
Saturday 8th Acts 2:42. Ask God that a culture of prayer would spill into
every part of our lives and church. Pray God would make us into people
who love coming together to pray, to listen and talk with our Lord.
Sunday 9th Palm Sunday Pray for Ian as he leads our service, Chris and
Christine as they lead JAM exploring the story of Palm Sunday. Vicky's
Tearoom meets this afternoon- pray for a good time of fun, fellowship,
growing friendships and safety for all involved.

Tuesday 11th Matthew 9:36. Pray for forgiveness for any indifference and
hopelessness with the enormity of the task we are called to do, to share
His Good News. Ask God to help us become more faithful in praying, being
open to his leading and willing to do our part.
Wednesday 12th Pray throughout the day for the Building project, pray
for clarity and discernment of Gods will for us on the Southside. Proverbs
3:5 &6.
Thursday 13th Pray for the joint meeting between Ian, the Deacons,
Building and Fundraising Groups. Pray again for clarity and a real sense of
God's leading.
Friday 14th Good Friday Read Isaiah 53. Spend some time thanking
Jesus for what He has done for us and the hope that He gives.
Saturday 15th Thank God for His great love for every person including
each one of us.
Sunday 16th Easter Day Hallelujah, He is Risen. Read Psalm 145 and
pray as you feel led. Pray for our All Age service today and the children as
we look at the Easter story together.
Monday 17th Pray for teachers and students as they return to school this
week.
Tuesday 18th Pray for our small groups meeting this week.
Wednesday 19th Pray for Ian and Lindsey as they start a time of holiday.
Pray they would have a time of rest, relaxation and blessing.
Thursday 20th Continue to pray for wisdom and clarity over our building
project and for the Building and Fundraising groups. Pray that as a
fellowship we would daily seek Gods leading for his plans for our fellowship
on the Southside. Jeremiah 29: 11-12.
Friday 21st Thank God for the people He will bring into our fellowship.
Praise God that the Good News of Jesus is for all.

Saturday 22nd Thank God for the beauty of His world and how it helps us
worship Him.

Sunday 23rd Pray for our service and those leading, as well as for Moira
and Janlyn leading in JAM as they explore "Jesus return to Heaven" with
the children. Pray that whatever our age we would all hear God speaking to
us

Monday 24th Thank God for all the opportunities we have to share His
love with our neighbours and friends. Ask God to show you how you can
share His love.

Tuesday 25th Remember our small groups meeting this week.

Wednesday 26th Pray for the service at Dovecot this afternoon. Thank
God for this opportunity to share His love and word with the folk there. Pray
a blessing on all who attend.

Thursday 27th Pray for Diversity meeting tonight in St. Andrews Leckie
church hall. For our speaker Roy Johnstone as he travels down from
Edinburgh and all who come.

Friday 28th Pray for our brothers and sisters in the other churches in
PRAYER DIARY
Peebles. St Josephs, St Andrews Leckie, The Old Parish Church, St Peters
and The Evangelical Church.

Saturday 29th Read Zephaniah 3:16-17. Pray as you feel led.

Sunday 30th Pray for John and Moira as they start up the breakfast time
from 10-10.30am, that all who come will feel welcomed and blessed. For
those leading the service, that all who come would meet with the Lord.
Pray for the meeting this afternoon led by Alzheimers Scotland. Pray for an APRIL 2017
increased awareness as to how we can welcome those who are suffering
with dementia and their carers into our fellowship. Thank God for this
opportunity and for this ministry.
