Elisabeth is an artist. She is my younger sister.
She loves to draw. She likes it since she was a kid.
Yesterday she drew a beautiful moon. She drew it very big and I am in love
with it.
I love to look at the moon. It is so enigmatic in my opinion.

Adam is a very famous chef.


He works in a French restaurant in Paris.
Adam is Australian but he moved to Paris when he was only 6 years

5- A Dog

Barbara wants a dog. She lives alone, so she thinks a dog can be a
very nice friend.
She decides to go to a pet shop. Barbara sees the animals at the pet
shop and feels very confused. There are a lot of options.
She sees the cats. They are so cute and independent, that could be a
nice option.
She sees the birds. They are so small and she doesnt need a lot of
space.
She sees the mice. They are very smart.
Then finally, she sees the dogs.
She looks at a gorgeous one, black and white. He is so cute and has a
friendly look in his eyes. She falls in love with it.
So she asks a man that works at the pet shop; How much does the
dog cost?
Two hundred dollars, the man says.
Barbara takes her wallet and gives the man two hundred dollars.
Barbara takes her new friend in her arms and says welcome to my
life Nino, we are going to have a great time together.
Nino goes home with Barbara. Now Barbara has the best friend of all.

6- The bakery
Oliver is hungry so he decides to walk to the bakery.
He is not sure what he wants to eat, but at the bakery there are a lot
of options.
It is late. The sky is dark.
He arrives at the bakery and asks for a ham and cheese sandwich.
It costs two dollars.
He also buys a Coke.
It costs fifty cents.
He sits down, eats his sandwich and drinks his Coke. Now he feels
great. He goes to the counter, pays and walks back home.
On his way home he thinks about something sweet, so he goes back
to the bakery and buys a chocolate bar.
Now it`s just perfect. He is ready to go home and watch TV before
going to bed.

My name is Felix. I am a businessman.


I have a clothing shop at the mall.
I live in London. I have a brother and a sister.
My sister is a university student. She studies medicine.

My brother doesn't want to go to university. He wants to be a
businessman like me. He comes and helps me in my shop on Saturdays

8- Vacation

One of my favorite vacation places is Brazil.


I really like the weather there because it never gets cold and the people
are very friendly too.
They never laugh at my poor Portuguese and they are very helpful.
The food is really good. I love Brazilian food.
Rio de Janeiro City is a very interesting place to visit. It has some great
places to visit and lots of fascinating beaches.
The hotels are too expensive to stay but there are more affordable
options.
A nice place to stay is at one of the beach resorts in Copacabana.
If you are planning to visit Brazil, you should definitely see the Christ
redeemer and the sugar loaf. You are definitely going to love it!

9- At the beach
Last summer, my parents decided to spend our vacation at the beach
because the weather was very good.
The travel agent said that traveling by bus was the cheapest way, but
we went by plane because it was faster.
We wanted to have more time to spend at the beach. The weather was
beautiful and we had a great time.
We love the food at the beach.
My parents always order shrimps and prawns.
We love seafood, so it is a good chance to eat it there.
At the beach, fish is very good. It is very fresh and the flavor is amazing.

10- A new pair of shoes


Jennifer is a young teacher.
Jennifer loves shoes. Since she was a kid she liked to have different colors
of shoes.
Now she has an old pair of black shoes that she wears to work. She goes to
work six days a week.
She loves her job. She is a happy teacher.
She works at a nice school. The school is not near her home, it is far. She
takes a bus to go to work and sometimes her father gives her a lift.
At work she stands up all day long, she only sits down when the students
are doing an exercise.
She is young and strong. But her shoes are not. They are old.
She needs to buy a new pair of shoes. She saw an ad in the paper.
All shoes were on sale at the shoe store near her work.
At lunch time she goes to the store. She looks around. She sees some
gorgeous black shoes. They look good. She tries them on. They are very
comfortable. They feel good. They are only $25. She pays cash. She wants
to wear them home. She feels very happy. Now she is ready to work again.

They have only one tiny problem.

12- The Cat

Mike has a grocery shop downtown.


But the shop is full of mice. They live in that grocery shop. There is
food everywhere.
They eat everything and spoil all the bags.
They also waste the bread, biscuits and fruits of the shop. The grocer is
really worried. So, he thought "I should buy a cat and let it stay at the
grocery. It is the only way I can save my shop."
He bought a nice, big and fat cat and let it stay there.

13- The silence

John is a good man. He lives in a farm. One day he discovered that he


lost his watch.
It is not an ordinary watch because it has sentimental value for him.
After looking for it all around the house, he decides to give up and
ask for some help from a group of children playing outside.
He promised the kids that the person who finds it will be rewarded.
Hearing this, the children hurried inside the barn.
They went through and around the entire place but still could not
find the watch.

lost forever
But just when the farmer was about to give up looking for his watch,
a little boy came to him and asked Sir, let me try again. Im sure I
am going to find it this time.
The farmer looked at him and thought, Why not? After all, this kid
looks sincere enough. And at least I am giving him another chance
and he is going to be happy.
So the farmer sent the boy back in the barn. After a while the little
boy came out with the watch in his hand!

Eiffel tower. They are absolutely amazing! I will definitely go back to
visit places I didnt have time to visit!
