strategies to construct meaning.
Learning standard : 2.2.1 Able to read and understand phrases and sentences from:
(a) linear texts
Objectives : By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to:

1. write the spelling of the vocabularies correctly.

2. fill in the blanks with correct answers.

3. read the reading text with correct pronunciation.

Teaching aids : Jigsaw puzzles, word cards, mah-jong papers, marker pens, A4 papers, word maze worksheets.
