Marketing
The American Marketing Association defines marketing as an organizational
function and a set of processes for creating, communicating and delivering value to
customers and for managing customer relationships in ways that benefit the
organization and its stakeholders. The American Marketing Association defines

With this definition, we can have concluded, that Marketing is not an activity by
itself, but rather, a collection of strategies and actions aimed at driving business to
your door. Marketing tactics may include branding, advertising, public relations,
merchandising, direct mail advertising, phone sales, infomercials, multi-level
marketing, and more.
Maybe you are a new company and the budget is super tight. Maybe you have
been in business for years and are doing just fine. However, there are many
companies out there trying to keep cost down and still growing without using
marketing.
Most companies have a sales team. This can be the owner of the company, the
sales manager, or even an intern. The goal of the sales team is to prospect new
business and close deals. Every company is involved in sales in some form or
another. From inside sales to outside sales, companies need a great sales team to
generate new business
There is another way, this might be the best to generate new business. Word of
mouth or a referral can go a long way. There are many companies that have built
their entire sales pipeline on word of mouth or referrals.ppl
