Meeting on May 17 DLW Resident Elected
President of Virginia
The May DLWCA membership meeting featured DLWCA Federation of Chapters
Board elections, presentation of the annual
scholarship award and a presentation on community (VFC) of NARFE
emergency preparedness, along with outstanding
refreshments provided by Jo Ann Donnelly.

Elected to the Board were Ken Quincy President, Mel

Kathy previously served as First Vice President of the
VFC for two years, Second Vice President for two years
and Area X Vice President for three years. Kathy is
currently First Vice President and Newsletter Editor for
NARFE Chapter 1116 in Vienna, VA. She joined
NARFE in 2003 and retired from the Federal
Government in Washington, DC in 2004. Kathy is a
lifetime member of NARFE and she will represent the
Virginia Federation at the 34th NARFE National
Convention in Reno, NV in August 2016.

The VFC has a long history of advising and assisting


federal employees and retirees. It was founded April 9,
1955, by NARFE members residing in the
Commonwealth of Virginia. Currently, there are more
than 13,000 NARFE members within the 55 Chapters

Help! DLWCA Needs a Films in the Park 2016

The position of Neighborhood Watch coordinator
continues to be vacant. Neighborhood Watch is a key President Ken Quincy
community program in helping to maintain a safe and 1st Vice President Melvin Rose
