Design individual greeting cards using
the technique of frottage
Greetings cards are a good way to begin
doing creative design because you can ex-
perience success very quickly and can also
experiment with different variations of a
particular technique.
This kit was designed around a nature
theme: the natural colours of the cards, the
colours selection of the ART GRIP pencils
and the different leaf motifs of the frot-
tage rubbing plate. Matching this is the
delicate but sturdy rice paper which you
will use to make the rubbings.
This technique encourages you to experi-
ment with colour and design. Remember
the technique you did in school where you
rubbed coins to discover the raised de-
sign on them? This kit uses the same tech-
nique, which has been used very effective-
ly by artists and artisans.

Individuelle Grukarten gestalten und
verschenken
Sehr beliebt fr den Einstieg in das krea-
tive Gestalten sind Grukarten, denn man
kommt ganz schnell zu einem Erfolgser-
lebnis. Dabei knnen verschiedene Varian-
ten einer Technik ausprobiert werden.
Diesem Set liegt das Thema Natur zu-
grunde, umgesetzt in naturfarbenen Klapp-
karten, in der Farbauswahl des ART GRIP
Farbstiftes und auch in den verschiedenen
Blattmotiven der Frottagefolie. Passend
dazu das zarte Japanpapier, auf dem Sie
mit den Stiften arbeiten.
Die Frottage-Technik ist sehr gut geeignet
fr alle, die sich nicht lange mit Proporti-
onen und Formen aufhalten mchten, son-
dern lieber gleich mit Farbe und Design
experimentieren mchten. In der Schule
haben wir alle einmal Mnzen mit dem
Bleistift auf Papier gerubbelt in die-
sem Set geht es genau um diese Technik,
die auch im knstlerischen Bereich sehr
effektvoll eingesetzt werden kann. Viel

avons tous une fois reproduit une pice
de monnaie en frottant un crayon de bois
sur du papier, dans ce coffret il sagit ex-
actement de cette technique qui peut tre
applique de manire remarquable dans le

and horizontal and rub the side of the lead
on the paper to reveal the design.
