seasons (please refer to Table A, B and C below).

Based on the water quality analysis a

conceptual design of a water treatment and demineralization plant should be developed
to meet the water quality required for the power plant system and facilities. Water
analysis to be conducted by nationally accredited laboratory (KAN).

Identify potential water intake points including their potential water piping routes
considering technical, economic, socio and environmental aspects.

Perform a low water level study to estimate the lowest water level of the river near the
proposed intake point. The estimated lowest river water level will be used in the design of
water intake structure.

Provide an engineering design for water supply storage system and capacity calculation
based on raw water availability

The proposed timetable to achieve any necessary water business licences/permits,

application scheme, when to apply and renew the licenses/permits, including but not
limited to, licences to use water (Surat Izin Penggunaan Sumber Daya Air) in relation to river
water and licenses on underground water intake (Surat Izin Pengambilan Air Bawah Tanah),
waste water discharge permit (Surat Ijin Pembuangan Air Limbah).

1.3 Transmission Line

The objectives of the required report include:

I. Review of the existing Transmission Line Study Report

II. Basic design of the transmission line including the tower design, conductor type, number of
conductor for each phase, etc.

III. Evaluation of land requirements including the required Right of Way (ROW)

IV. Identification of suitable land for the towers

V. Calculation of costs

The Scope of Work includes, but is not limited to:

Desktop study of at least five (5) potential routes from the power plant to the 150 kV PLN
substation (location is assumed to be in Wahau, 15-20 km from project site, coordinates to
be confirmed later) considering technical, economical, permitting, geographical,
environmental, health and safety aspects.

A base load flow study and the typical line limits, loss calculation and voltage drop analysis.

A site visit (or visits) to check that the selected transmission line routes (maximum two (2)
transmission line routes confirmed by Owner after desktop study) and tower placements
will be feasible and optimum, considering the following aspects:

o be suitable for reliable transmission between the project plant and the sub-
station based on an assessment of the technical, economical, permitting,
geographical, environmental, health and safety aspects
o comply with PLN standard and applicable Indonesian grid code for the design,
construction, operation, maintenance, and electrical safety requirements

o by using certified GPS handheld to determine and identify the suitable

location/position of the end towers, angle towers, necessary crossings, water,
river(s), and any other obstacles

o identify the geological conditions along the proposed transmission line based on
the regional geological map and the fact findings from the site visit

o identify the topographical conditions along the proposed transmission line

based on the available maps and the fact findings from the site visit

o identify the existing spatial planning/zoning and land uses including land owner
(at least within 60 m from the centre of the transmission line route) along the
proposed corridor of the 150 kV line
