This letter serves as a recommendation for Andrea Rodriguez. Andrea is a current student at Nova
Academy Early College High School, and was enrolled in my Spanish 2 course during her
sophomore year. During that school year, Andrea demonstrated that she is a dedicated and reliable
young woman. She has proven to be a person who does not wholly rely on her natural intelligence
alone; she persistently strives for so much more both academically and socially. From volunteering
at the El Sol Science and Arts Academy, to becoming a leader in her classroom, Andrea has proven
herself to be a model young adult.

Andrea has had various academic achievements at Nova including Honor Roll her sophomore,
junior, and senior year. During her freshman year she was also received the Soaring Eagle Award
was recipient of High Honor Roll. She also participated in clubs on Novas campus, including the
Harry Potter club and the Global Girls club her senior year. She also participated in Literature club
her freshman year.

As a student, Andrea is a steadfast, exceedingly responsible, and ambitious young woman. She is
also highly intelligent and consistently uses sound judgement, as she is more mature and focused
than the majority of her classmates. Andrea is truly a unique individual. She strives to succeed in all
that she sets out to do. When Andrea faces a new situation, she excels at assimilating herself to the
environment. Rather than allowing the unfamiliarity to get in her way, she capitalizes on it by
showing how easily she could adapt to each situation appropriately and thrive.

Students that were in my classroom at Nova Academy Early College High School were expected to
be reliable, trustworthy, and behave as though they are already in a professional work setting. I also
required students to push themselves academically, to strive for excellence, and to have academic
integrity. Andrea demonstrated her capacity to meet and surpass these expectations. I am truly
impressed with Andrea dedication to growth and passion for learning. She is intrinsically motivated
to gain new knowledge and genuinely enjoys challenging herself in things she is not familiar with.

I know Andrea will be a positive attribution to any university that she attends. She is very focused
on her life after high school, most importantly college. Andrea possesses all the characteristics that
make her an exceptional student, and I can wholeheartedly state that I know she will achieve great
things in life.
