Design requires intense concentration which drains most (if not all) of your energy
to solve a specific problem (Yes, Indeed! and I really hate that idea). In order for you
to work efficiently and be able to come up with viable concepts and successful
design, first, you need to instill in your mind that Nothing can be done until you put
your pencil and brain cells into work. Give your fortune cat some offerings too for
stronger effect and chant : Goddess heed my desire, let the diligence flow in my
veins today.

You really have to know your stuff before you design- What problems are you
solving? Begin analyzing all site elements from general to specific and from given
to unknown. That can give you a good start.
Second, Look at site in terms of its spatial components, identify the constraints and
opportunities present on that area and blend them to an optimal solution.
Rethink and evaluate your approach, and dont get too attached on one solution
only.
Always scrutinize your concept and constantly check if you provided all the
necessary requirements, always ask yourself - how will your proposal fit into the
community? and what would be the impact on the said site?
And ultimately, after satisfying all what ifs refine the details of your design and
youre good to go!
