INCHARGE
ORGANIZER ENGLISH PANEL
7.20 am - All students gathered in the hall for weekly assembly.
Each teacher was supplied with an English magazine
(Times, Readers Digest or Quest).
- Students were reminded to bring their novel textbook the
week before.
7.40 am - The Prefect on duty was provided a script to chair the
programme and acknowledged the audience about the
objectives of the programme.
THE 8.00 am - The Principal delivered a speech and launched the
REPORT programme.
- The Principal cut the ribbon of the programme bunting as
a gimmick.
8.15 am - The audience was required to be in silent and read the
materials that they had in 5 minutes.
8.20 am - End of programme.
The activity will be run every week during the weekly assembly as the
last slot before the Principals speech.
Strength:
Strong support from the Principal and the management.
Good cooperation among the members of English Panel.
Each teacher was provided with a reading material.
The programme was nicely held as planned.
Weakness:
Some students forgot to bring the book required for the activity.
POST MORTEM Time consumed longer because of their carelessness.
No theme music to enlighten the programme.
Suggestion:
Students are required to provide themselves an English material prior
the activity.
Any students who leave the material will have to stand up the whole
session (5 minutes)
A theme music will be aired to enlighten the session and the students
mood.
 Hopefully this programme will make a move for a better writing and
CONCLUSION simultaneously improve the interest of reading English materials among
students and teachers. Reading is the key of knowledge.
