Advertising Types & Styles
Some good work here, but can you try to take this a bit more seriously please
(the title slide). Can you please explain in the descriptions how the advert
example you have applies the persuasive technique.

LO1 Part B. What is advertising?


This is a good start, but you require more detail. Can you please ensure that you
quote / footnote any research that you find. There is a lack of an evidence trail.
The job roles section requires this. Be more specific on the advertising agency
and job roles and what they do. Also change your font. It gives me a headache.

Lo1 Part C. Regulation


This requires a lot more detail. Explain in more detail who the ASA / BCAP etc are
and their function. Expand on the Ofcom section, this is short. Try to add in more
detail on how they are funded and the communications act. Also change your
font. It gives me a headache.
LO1 part D. Analysis.
A fair analysis here Lewis. Can you please re-visit the ASA / BCAP section. You
need to be more specific on the BCAP codes. If there are none that the advert
would breach, Id consider looking up sections 2 and 3, there may be something
of relevance in there. Your magazine advert analysis is good Lewis, but it needs
to be linked to the TV advert. Keep this analysis, but add another of an Apple
Watch Print advert.
