Most governments differ from each country based off how well the nation is doing. Some
countries have dictators and others have a democracy. In a democratic country, there can be two
political systems. One is capitalism and the other is socialism. Capitalists believe in individual
profit while Socialists believe the profit should be distributed equally. In this country, the
education system is productive. The healthcare system is provided to all citizens with no charge,
immigration laws are friendly with moderate restrictions, unemployed citizens can receive
support benefits from the government, and although the taxes are high, the money is spent on
Education plays a very important role in everyones lives. Most of the times, it will
determine what your future would look like. Education for citizens in this country will be free
until they have completed four years of college. For immigrants, they will have K through
twelfth-grade education free. If they do not want to go to college they would have to go to the
army and serve there for 2 years. This country offers a free education system because it will help
boost the economy. EducationNext states that, A highly skilled workforce can raise economic
growth by about two - thirds of a percentage point every year. This means those who are well
educated will help the economy grow even higher. With the free higher level school system, they
do not have to worry about paying or having debts after they graduate. Free education for higher
level studies will bring out the potential most people have and live a successful life.
One of the most valuable pieces in our lives is healthcare. Healthcare ensures you the
best medical care they can give. In some countries, healthcare is to be paid for. In this country,
healthcare will be absolutely free for citizens. Immigrants will only benefit from this until they
have turned eighteen. They can become a citizen and receive these benefits for the rest of their
lives. Senator Bernie Sanders from the Huffington Post states that, Everybody is covered as a
right of citizenship. The Danish healthcare system is popular, with patient satisfaction much
higher than in our country. This states that everyone is covered with Healthcare and they are
satisfied with their doctors. Sanders also states that, Danes pay very high taxes, but in return
enjoy a quality of life This means that even though they pay high number of taxes, they do
not worry about having less money to pay for healthcare because they have the free healthcare
system. Healthcare also includes childcare because children also play an important role for the
country. They are the next generation that will step up and take the previous generations position
and possibly make it even better. If a mother and father were to have a child then both the parents
will get up to a year of paid maternity leave to spend time with their newborn child. This will
help increase the bond between the child and the parents so that the child does not feel neglected
in the family.
individual emigrating to a foreign country with intent to stay. A country would have to also give
benefits to these immigrants, but not as good as native-born citizens. Immigrants can become
legal by: having one-hundred hours of community service, living in the country for over two
years, having a stable job for a year or more and having a clean record. Becoming a citizen might
have its hardships to go through, but you will be benefitted with many programs such as free
healthcare for the rest of your life and free education for your four years of higher level
education. The hardships include: taking citizen test and singing the national anthem.
Immigration is good for the country because it will help the economy grow. According to
analysis by the Presidents Council of Economic Advisers (CEA), the Presidents executive
actions on immigration would boost economic output by an estimated 0.4 to 0.9 percent over ten
years, corresponding to increases in GDP of $90 billion to $210 billion in 2024. This means that
the GDP will rise to keep the nation going forward and expand.
Many people that work will eventually be unemployed. It is not fair that these people got
laid off and should be given benefits to help them keep living while looking for a new job. If
unemployed, the government will give 75% of the income that you had from the last job for a
whole year. Every 3 months after that will lower the income by 30%. These benefits only apply
when you are actively looking for a job. This will not given to those who quit their jobs to get the
benefits without doing any work. The person who was unemployed must have the job for at least
two months. These unemployment benefits function well because in Sweden workers to receive
up to 80 percent of their former salaries for the first 200 working days after losing their jobs. The
Taxes keep the nation running and if it runs well for a long period of time, it will
eventually grow. Governments decide to either have low taxes or high taxes which usually
depends on the nations growth. For people who make the lower income of 0 ~ 45k will receive a
tax rate of 49.6, those who make the medium income of 45k ~ 90k will receive a tax rate of
55.8%, and those who make the higher income 90k + will receive a tax rate of 65.1%. With the
taxes, the people will benefit from many social programs the government offers. The Guardian
states that, Swedes' personal income tax can be as little as 29 percent of their pay, but most
people (anyone earning over 32,000) will pay between 49 and 60 percent through a
combination of local government and state income tax. Their country runs well even with high
tax rates and is always on the top happiest countries in the world. Their government makes good
use of the taxes to keep the nation running and keep the people happy
Overall, the country runs well with the systems provided. The education system runs
well with the environment, the healthcare system is universal, the immigration laws are fairly
limited, the unemployment benefits are fair, and the taxes are being used for the nation to run and
expand greatly over time. This country promotes a healthy environment for those who want to
