Taxi war suspect arrested

Platinum The police in Ohrigstad have made a breakthrough when they arrested asuspect on the night of 2017-03-
26 at his place of residence at Mabocha village outside Burgersfort.
The arrest follows a murder that stems from the taxi feud between Ohrigstad and Eastern Leolo Taxi
Associations between 2017-03-09 and 2017-03-14. During the conflict a taxi driver died when he was

shot three times in the head.
Local detectives in collaboration with the provincial crime intelligence unit investigated the case.
The suspects hom was raided in the early morning of 2017-03-27 following information and he was
arrested while still asleep. He will appear in court soon. POlice are still looking for other suspects who are
allegedly in the matter.
The station commander of Ohrigstad SAPS Capt Gertrude Mashego has commended members for
the sterling work they are doing and she has warned the other suspects to hand themselves to the police
at Ohrigstad or to their nearest police station.

Modikwa runner, Mokaila Lawrence
Tjia participated in the Birchwood half
marathon. He now has another medal

The marathon took place in Boks-
burg and was well organized. Race
