Raising Guide Dogs
Guide dogs for the blind is an amazing organization
where civilians raise dogs to lead around blind
people. We would be creating a group in Merced for
people who want to raise the dogs and fundraise for
this organization.
Who will this project
benefit?
This project will benefit the blind people of the
world who are in need of guide dogs. Guide Dogs for
the Blind is in need of a lot more raisers and we
will get more people from the Merced area
interesting in raising the dogs.
What is your plan? How
will you make this work?
On of the members of our group is already involved
with the Guide Dogs for the Blind organization. We
would be fundraising a lot for this organization
and volunteering at the Guide Dogs for the Blind
headquarters in San Rafael. We would also get more
people in Merced involved in raising guide dogs.
20% Fridays
We will call businesses who will help us
fundraise for our organization. We will
also meet with our schools officials and
convince them to allow guide dogs in
training on our school campuses.
Final Project?
Our final project will be to give all of
the money that we raised to the Guide Dogs
for the Blind organization and we will
try to get guide dogs in training allowed
on this campus.
