ACTIVITY 13: Ball Shoot

Purpose:
Previous activity that required fine-motor development using balls
(Activity 3-Ball Box)

- Repeating actions that produce outcomes

- Ensures that the infant is able to construct the relationship between
their actions and the reaction to the material.

Materials:
Large Container (empty protein shake container)
Industrial pipe (1 straight, 1 curved)
Electrical tape for rough edges

Where Carpet Area

Description:
Place the ball shoot in the centre of the room
Allow the children to identify the object and engage in the activity
Demonstrate how the activity works

Teaching Strategies:
1. Sensory Engagement- fine motor
2. Modelling- displaying how to perform task so they can mimic my
actions
