but its illegal to cross the street outside of the crosswalk on Robindale and we have seen CCSDPD citing people lately.

Spirit Dress Days: This is the final week before spring break! We are going to end our week in comfort! Wednesday is wear
your red day to support our Annual Blood Drive coming up (Wednesday is the Blood Drive Assembly), Thursday is wear
your favorite hat day, and Friday is wear your slippers day! Spirit Dress Days are always optional.

attend.

Friday, 4/7. It is $10.00 admission for Cox Cubs and that includes admission, pizza & drinks, and snacks. What a great way

Proud of DMC Staff and Students: Based on our schools 2016 SBAC performance scores our school was rated a 4 for
teacher evaluation purposes. The numeric 4 is the highest you can earn and its based upon our ranking amongst not just
CCSDs overall performance but the state as well.

Annual DMC Parent Survey: Parents, each year we send home a survey regarding the operations and programs at our
school. Your input is very valuable to us and the responses are always posted in the newsletter and will now be shared at
upcoming SOT meetings. Questions like open/closed campus, times of PTA meetings, early-bird GATE classes are types of
questions on the survey. Please look for the survey at the end of April.

Staffing Update: As previously posted in past Newsletters, staffing and staffing within grade levels are always subject to
change (even right up to the first day of school). We will always accept parent letters for teacher requests beginning May 1st,
however, due to possible staffing changes, your request may not be granted. If your child is placed in a requested classroom
and that teacher leaves over the summer, you will NOT get your second choice; your child will be placed based on student
count. REQUESTS ARE NOT A GUARANTEED PLACEMENT. We do have some grade levels filled and staff for the
upcoming year:

Kindergarten Second Grade Fifth Grade

Mrs. Ernst Mrs. Blohm Mrs. Ball-Aguilar
Mrs. Froehlich Mrs. Harry Mr. Orth
Mrs. Niewinski Mrs. Henson Mrs. Piccininni

Kindergarten Round-Up: Be on the lookout for information regarding registration for next years Kindergarten! Registration
will begin in April. April 17th begins the annual ONLINE REGISTRATION for CCSD. Remember, even if your student
(K-12) is already attending a CCSD school, you still must go into Infinite Campus and RE-ENROLL your child(ren) for
the upcoming school year. Re-enrolling your student ensures that the district staffs the students appropriately for each school.
If your child is on a zone variance currently, you still must enroll for the school they are CURRENTLY attending.
