This matter having come on for hearing on Appeal from the 36th
District Court Case No. 08-311916 LT, and the dircuit Court having heard
and considered the briefs and oral arguments of dounsel for the parties
appearing on June 24, 2010, and sufficient cause appearing therefor; it
is now, therefore, hereby

ORDERED that this matter is REMANDED to the 36th District Court

and District Judge E. Lynise Bryant-Weekes for determination as to whether
the district court has subject matter jurisdiction to enter a judgment of possession
in this case due to invalidity of the sheriff deed, cind whether the entry of said
Judgment of Possession on March 23,2009, shoJld be reversed, on the basis of
arguments presented in this appeal, and submitted to the district court by
defendants' motion filed January 4,2010, including arguments presented in
paragraph 10 of said motion; and it is further
 ORDERED that subject to this remand for reconsideration and determination
on grounds presented in this appeal, that the other rulings and orders of the district
court in 36th District Court Case No. 08-311916 LT, are sustained.
