GOAL: To be able to explain the solar system and its relative size
You are to create a project that will demonstrate your understanding about the solar system and the
components that we have looked at during class.
You may choose to present your knowledge in any project form, but you must complete a project
proposal and receive approval before you can begin. Some examples of potential projects include
models, posters, PowerPoints, a song, a video, an interpretive dance or a presentation. You may work in
groups of up to 3 people (providing you can justify needing group members in your proposal).
You will be given 3 hours (including today) to work on your project in class. This project will be due
Friday February 17, 2017 at the end of the day. Your project will be graded using the four point scale
system based on the criteria you have come up with.
