UNIVERSITY OF THE PHILIPPINES OPEN UNIVERSITY BAC RESOLUTION NO. 17-007 WHEREAS, the UP Open University Bids and Awards Committee (UPOU BAC) posted the Request for Quotation for "Supply, Delivery and Installation of Office Furniture” at the Philippine Government Electronic Procurement System (PhilGEPS) for seven days, and continuously at the UP (Open University (UPOU) website and on bulletin boards at the premises of the UP Open University; WHEREAS, in response to the said postings, four (4) sealed quotations were received by the BAC on 6 October 2016 from the following bidders: Cubix Office Inc.; Design Excellence Home & Office System Co.; ACRO Office Products, Inc.; and Pinnacle Sphere Enterprises; WHEREAS, the prices quoted by the bidders were as follows: Name of Bidder Price Quoted subix Office in [ PhP 167,875.00 JACRO Office Products, Inc. PhP 248,201.00 Pinnacle Sphere Enterprises PhP 275,390.00 WHEREAS, upon post-qualifcation and careful examination of the quotations submitted by the bidders, Cubix Ofice Inc. was found to have complied with the specifications and with the most responsive quotation; NOW, THEREFORE, we, the members of the Bids and Awards Committee, hereby RESOLVE as itis hereby RESOLVED to deciare and recommend the award of contract to CUBIX OFFICE INC. as the bidder with the lowest and most responsive quotation for “Supply, Delivery and Installation of Office Furniture" RESOLVED, at UPOU Headquarters, Los Bafios, Laguna this 10" day of February 2017.
