bootloader configuration mode. The second Ethernet port on the AEM, labeled enet2 on the
card faceplate and ethernet1/0/2 in CLI output, can be optionally provisioned for IP
connectivity and then used as a general networking interface. It does not provide access to
the bootloader CLI. Use Ethernet port 1 for primary Ethernet backhaul and Ethernet port 2

10 Time CLI
In CDMA system, all AEMs should be are each other and CDMA system time configuration is
based on both TOD (Time-Of-Date) messages and even second timing which come from BTS
with GPS module.

AEM has two different timing offset values. The first is local-time-offset which is one of
attributes belong to SPM (SectorParameterMessage), and this message is delivered over-
the-air. The access terminal will calculate its local time with it and display time information
in its display panel. The second is time-zone which is used for setting OS time in AEM.

configured according to the region.

the reference, GMT (Greenwich Mean Time). Therefore, local-time-offset should be 18 and
time-zone should be 540.

12.20 emergency disable-accounts-expiration

When the AEM loses GPS signaling, the system is unable to determine if the Administrator
Account password is expired. In this case, the system automatically downgrades the
Administrator Account user privileges to those of a Normal Account. This can cause issues
with coupling the BTS during initial commissioning. Should this situation arise, the
Emergency Account user can disable the expiration functionality to ensure that the
Administrator Account is not downgraded. This functionality, accessible only by the
AEMEmergUser in config mode, will prevent the expiration of all accounts.

13 Considerations and limitations

AEM will display a warning message when a CLI set command changes the
configuration parameter requiring AEM reboot.

AEM will display a reboot indication (warning) message when AEM reboot is
triggered by configuration parameters change. (After 5 seconds, AEM will
reboot.)

AEM supports up to 2500 CLI commands before you are forced to perform a
commit CLI command.

Ericsson recommends you perform the commit command after you perform a
CLI set command. The AEM SW will begin processing CLI set commands after
the commit.

After retrieving commit command, AEM SW will begin to run the check semantic
rule.

AEM supports a 2 carrier/ 3 sector configuration for AEM customers.
