Whenever an engine is automatically switched off by the module control concerning an alarm, the cause of the
trip must be remedied first before the module is restarted again as mentioned in TA 1100-0111 (para. Failures)!
SB-087 is to highlight the correct actions to be taken after engine shutdown due to Knocking failure A3339.
REQUIRED ACTION
In case of engine shutdown due to Knocking failure A3339 all cylinder temperatures at trip must be checked.
1. Press ALARM

3. Press Trending
Check all cylinder temperatures at trip and compare them with the average cylinder temperature data. If the
temperature difference is greater than 25C at either cylinder do not restart the engine but contact your
responsible service person for engine inspection and identify the cause of the trip!
