Dear Ms. Feighner,

As a soon to be graduate of the nursing program at Jackson College, I have read with interest the
job posting for graduate nurse residency program. Based on the qualifications listed, I believe I
would be a good match for this position as well as vital addition to Henry Ford Allegiance
Health.

I have seven years of experience working as a medical assistant that gives me hands on
knowledge in the healthcare field. I have assisted multiple physicians with different preferences
of practice I have experience with obtaining patients vital signs, health histories as well as
giving education. I have assisted physicians with multiple types of surgical procedures and have
excellent sterile technique skills. Prior to my career in the medical field, I have worked different
positions with a combined total of 10 years of experience in customer service.

I feel that my Associate of Applied Science- Nursing degree I have earned from Jackson College
gives me the education and skills needed to be successful in this position. I am eager to be in a
position to that helps people and makes a positive impact in their life. I plan to further my
education up to a Masters level and do my part to help others around the world.
