My Reflections

My reflections on
my interpersonal
skills is on Belbins
Team Roles. I
choose the Belbin
Team Roles
because it speaks
to the very core of
having excellent
communication
skills. Up until I
read the Belbins
report I prided
myself to be good
at my job. After
going through the
Belbin Team roles,
I have realized
that there is more
to this skill than
"what I knew."This
artifact speaks to
my #$ years as a
%ustomer &ervice
Representative
and the different
positions I had. In
all the different
areas I had to play
the part. I have
had that privilege
to "wear different
hats' as a team
leader' a call
(quality specialist'
help desk' and a
trainer. In all these
position one thing
I learned "is the
importance of
interpersonal
skills. This artifact
is relevant
because in the
Belbin Team
Roles it talks
about the different
areas and how" to
be efficient in
them. I choose
this object
primarily because
it talks about ho"
to be useful in
building on your
skills, and also
because
interpersonal skills
are imperative in
our everyday life.
It also talks about
the importance of
being a team
player as a
marketable skill.
s I look back on
this artifact it
reinforces the
importance of
what I already
knew being in that
position it has also
given me the tools
to work and
improve on to be
the best I can be.
The only
challenges I had
"as to pick the
right artifact
"which "could be
an accurate
reflection on my
interpersonal
skills. after going
through all my
journals, I came to
the conclusion
that this is the
best' because it
touched on the
importance of
interpersonal skills
is what employers
are looking for in
their employees.
This has also
taught me that
having excellent
interpersonal skills
is not only ideal
for the office, but it
is also good
(quality to have in
my everyday life. )
going forward I will
look for ways to
improve on my
Interpersonal skills
as it will be a real
marketable skill to
show my future
employers.
