Matrix Overview
1 This matrix is meant to further clarify information as shown on the Contract Documents. Any conflict between
this exhibit and the Contract Documents should be brought to the Owner's and Architect's attention prior to
proceeding. Contractor should allow for enough time to ensure discrepancies can be properly addressed.

2 Contract will coordinate with Owner for all owner provided and contractor installed items. Contractor will take
tailgate receipt for these items. At the time of receipt contractor takes possession and responsiblity for
materials. Contractor shall inspect these deliveries for accuracy and possible damage. Contractor should
immediately notify Owner of quantity/damage concerns to ensure, if necessary, delivery can be rejected.
Contract will be responsible for proper care and storage of these items through out the process.

Notes

1 All wood / metal backing shall be provided and installed by Contractor everywhere required for all furniture,
valances, blinds, fixtures, equipment, etc., whether shown or not in the Contract Documents.
2 Fixed furniture such as built in casework and booth/banquette seating shall be furnished and installed by
Contractor. Movable furniture shall be furnished and installed by Owner. All artwork, pictures, and wall hung
mirrors shall be furnished and installed by Owner.
3 Contractor shall carry all supply and install costs associated with the guest entry lock system. This includes
computer system, initial key cards, on site training, etc. as outlined in the specifications. Owner will work with
contractor during the buyout of this of work to ensure proper scope and pricing. Owner may purchase
materials direct for cost savings benefit.
4 All fixed mirrors (Exercise rooms, restrooms, etc.) shall be furnished and installed by Contractor.
5 All carpet, carpet pad, and vinyl wall covering shall be supplied by Owner and received, inventoried,
warehoused, distributed, handled, protected and installed by Contractor. Contractor must proactively provide
quantities of finish materials to the Owner at least 6 months prior to the first delivery required to avoid
schedule delays. Contractor is reponsible for this schedule delay should they not provide prior to this 6 month
window.
6 Signage shall be furnished and installed by Owner. Contractor shall provide all necessary in-wall backing and
MEP rough-in. Contractor shall provide all necessary early and ongoing coordination of the Work with Owner
and their designers and suppliers. Properly coordinated installation in all respects is the responsibility of the
Contractor.
7 Equipment shall be furnished and installed by Owner. Contractor shall provide all necessary in-wall backing
and MEP rough-in. Final connections and terminations are by Contractor. Contractor shall provide all
necessary early and ongoing coordination of the Work with Owner and their designers and suppliers. Properly
coordinated installation in all respects is the responsibility of the Contractor.

8 All hard wired lighting fixtures shall be furnished and installed by Contractor. Specific projects may call out
some decorative fixtures as being owner supplied. Should this note exist on the drawings the Contracot
should follow this note. All plug-in lighting shall be furnished and installed by Owner.

9 Security/Voice/Data/Video/Sound/CATV equipment shall be supplied and installed by Owner. All conduit and
wiring shall be provided by Contractor. Owner hires a separate vendor to perform device out, terminations,
testing and final commissioning. Owner's vendor will offer coordination services during the project to the
contractor.
10 Contractor shall provide all necessary early and ongoing coordination of the Work with Owner's vendors.
11 Card reader access is via the guest entry lock system. There is not a separate card reader system for the
property. Card reader functionality shall be furnished and installed by Contractor.
