The article Highly Effective Teachers by Adelle Faull talks about the way to make
There are two theoretical frameworks to check teachers pedagogic and dispositional
characteristics. That are the New South Wales Quality Teaching Model (QTM), and the
Dispositional Cluster Model (DCM). The QTM helps to check the teacher is effective or not. It
also helps to see teachers mistakes. The use of QTM will support students to grow their
intellectual quality. The use of effective DCM stimulates teachers teaching quality, talent,
creativity, intelligence, and dispositions. QTM has three dimensions Intellectual quality,
quality learning environment, and Significance. The elements of this dimensions are deep
performance. The teacher DCM also helps to stimulate students academic performance because
DCM teachers are creative, communicative, passionate, authentic, and committed to teach and

I agree on Adelle Faulls point to make highly effective teachers because pedagogic and
dispositional characteristics of the teachers will definitely makes teacher highly effective. She is
right because when teachers are highly effective, the students will learn effectively. The students
will be effective and actively engage in the classroom activity. The students will have stimulated
their intelligent and do their best in the academic activity. When the teacher is able to teach
effectively the students will understand the lesson effectively and they may not forget the lesson
easily. As a result, their parents will be thankful to the teachers and happy with their children.
REFLECTION ON HIGLY EFFECTIVE TEACHERS
So, Adelle brings very effective way to make teacher effective and it is important to have the
quality teaching model and dispositional cluster model to run the school effectively and
especially important to give true, genuine, and effective knowledge to the students as an effective
teacher.
Reflection
After I read this article, I understand that I should have to practice the quality teaching
model and I should have dispositional cluster model characteristic. Just like God created Eve
to communicate with Adam and have relation with God, to be a highly effective teacher, I need
to have good communication with the students, so the students can have clear meaning of the
subject. In my last teaching practicum, I taught but it was not that effective like this article talks
about. When I teach again, I will practice this model. I will have deeper understanding first and I
will teach. I will teach simply by providing students the meaning of new vocabulary words. I will
have some opening activities and closing activities, so that the students can focus on learning and
learn at least something. I will correct myself by being new and creative, organized and
