The central focus is to understand the importance of PE.

PEHS.4 Achieves and maintains a health enhancing level of physical fitness.

Instructional Strategies and Learning Tasks

Launch: 10 Minutes

I will get the attention of the class by simply using my voice. Start by asking students for their
opinion on the topic prior to the lesson. Give my rules to the class.

Be Respectful

Instruction: 40 Minutes

First I will introduce the PP. Then I will use it as a tool to do my lecture. Then we
will discuss things covered on the PP. Then we will do a worksheet about what
was covered on the PP.

Closure: 10 Minutes

Well end with a quiz over the presentation. Then ask what they can change to be more
physically active.
