Throughout the school year, we have been studying fiction and literary elements.
This book report will incorporate all the things that we have learned in a longer
work of fiction. Your job will be to read your novel and create an Altered Book.
The International Society of Altered Book Artists defines an altered book as any
book, old or new that has been recycled by creative means into a work of art.
Due Date:

_____
Step 1: Read the novel and make notes of interesting things you would like to
make sure you include in your project.
Step 2: Find an old hardcover book to create your altered book. DO NOT USE A
LIBRARY BOOK TO CREATE AN ALTERED BOOK!
You may want to visit old bookstores, or thrift shops. Feel to check with your
school librarian as well. PLEASE USE A HARDBACK BOOK, NOT A
PAPERBACK BOOK FOR THIS PROJECT.
