MC-L-02 Pipework After Test/Reinstatement

01 Check that the pipework and equipment are drained as per procedure.
02 Check that the pipework and equipment (re) installation conforms to the specification,
drawing and to the P&ID's.
03 Check that new permanent gasket have been installed after pipework and equipment
reinstallation.
04 Check that the pipework, valves, Check valves are undamaged.
05 Check that the pipework, valves, Check valves are undamaged. Also check the ancillaries
and any other components.
06 After the (re) installation of a valve check that it operates freely.
07 Check that the flow direction of the valves and Check valve is in correct sense/directions.
08 Check that the valves have been correctly lubricated and that they have the correct spindle
packing.
09 Check that all the bolts and fasteners are suitably lubricated.
10 Check that after pre-commissioning is finished that the painting of piping system and of the
equipment is "Touched up" to conform to specifications.
11 Check Insulation has been installed as per P&ID & Specification
12 Check for the correct tagging, labelling and colour coding of pipework and equipment.
13 Produce a set of marked-up drawings in accordance with the installation.
14 Produce a defect list for issued in the Punch List.
