By your letter/instruction/drawing (reference, date) we have been instructed to

omit (describe work to be omitted), which formed part of the original scope of
Works and is not the subject of any replacement work.

We advise you that we have already incurred the following costs (provide detailed
listing).

In accordance with the provisions of Sub-Clause 12.4, we hereby request

reimbursement of these costs.
