Each of you have been assigned an example each
If you are from Friday 9AM Tutorial, you will score for 2 Trumpets in C or B
flat, Horn in F and Tenor Trombone
If you are a woodwind player from Friday 10 AM Tutorial, you will score for
Oboe, Clarinet in B flat or A, Horn in F or Saxophone and Bassoon
If you are a brass player from Friday 10AM Tutorial, you will score for Trumpet
in C or B flat, Horn in F, Tenor Trombone and Tuba
For other instrumentalists from Friday 10 AM Tutorial, you can choose to write
for either woodwind or brass quartet
You may transpose the harmonization, put the melody in another voice, or vary
the original in any other way but do not change the melody or harmony
You can embellish the melody, alter the rhythm or change meter but the basic
melody must be heard with the original harmony
Think of a suitable expressive quality. This will aid you in the textures you want
to create for the quartet
Remember to supply articulations, tempo, expression and dynamics
Notate your version in a music notation software
