The first step we took in our Sustainability journey was to chart a clear roadmap with defined targets. At Tech Mahindra in along
with Mahindra Group Sustainability team we identified material issues which are critical to our business operations. Against each
of the material issues we have taken 2 year comprehensive targets.

The targets reflect our material issues like reduction in emissions, efficient water use, e-waste, community engagement, associate
development & green supply chain.

Commitment to Human Rights: Our approach to human rights is aligned with the United Nations Guiding Principles for
Business and Human Rights and is articulated in our HR policy is a broad framework that looks at the impact of our own business
practices.

Tech Mahindras CSR wing Tech Mahindra Foundation (TMF) is committed to play its role as an enlightened corporate citizen and

EMISSION REDUCTION

In our effort for greening our operations at Tech Mahindra we have challenged ourselves to work in an environmentally
responsible manner and to find new ways to reduce our carbon footprint. We have strived towards how we can move towards
a low carbon infrastructure and how we can imbibe renewables energy.

WATER STEWARDSHIP

Growing footprints along with inefficiency to manage water for direct operations has paved the way for a whole new chapter in the
corporate business continuity strategies.

As Tech Mahindra broadens its horizons in the IT & telecom sector attaining robust business growth, we realize that the water
required that is reliable, accessible and of acceptable quality to run our operations will also show an upward accent. Hence, we have
started working towards measuring, reporting and reducing the water footprint of our operations.

Sewage Treatment Plants: We always look for maximizing opportunities for end-to-end reuse of wastewater and water
treatment. Thus, STPs have been set up at five of our major campuses to treat waste water which is reused for non-operational
purposes like landscaping.

Water recycling: Campuses that have STP installed are Zero Discharge Facilities & recycle sewage generated completely. It is
reused for non-operational purposes like landscaping. The focus is on reducing the water intensity of our operations. This not only
helps in effectively conserving water but also bring in cost efficiency.

Rain Water Harvesting Systems: Rain water collected in these reservoirs helps reduce our dependency on fresh water
sources. In case of changes in availability of water, we are resilient to adverse effects due to these measures.
