Elementary Art Class Newsletter
February, 2017
Whats New
January is just a distant memory. Welcome back to this months
newsletter. This February, our class has a lot of fun and
activities in store of the class. In class Valentines Day parties
start on February 10th and a Mazzios night on the 17th. Make
sure you mark February 20th on your calendar because school is
out for Presidents Day. February 21th is a certified work day
there is no school. Board meeting is February 27th.

Shocking Revelation School Board Meeting

Do you love science? Then come on down
to see Jane Does fourth grade Electricity
Presentation. On Friday February, 17 all the
fourth graders children will watch a fun
science presentation at 9:15 am.
My Art Class Agenda
This month the class will focus on their
basic skills, craftsmanship, and design by
working of projects in class. We will teach
the students about land and seascapes to
work on value in class. In fourth grade the
class with be working with clay to teach
them about form and show them useful clay
building techniques. We will also be doing
weaves in our 3rd class to emphasize color
and bring attention to a famous artist. We
This school board meeting the faculty and
parents will discuss the next step in our
change in the schools schedule. We will be
electing new representatives. The school
board will vote on the new change to the
curriculum, and policy changes. The school
budget will be discussed will be reworked
this meeting. Community projects will be
established over the next few meeting for
volunteer and fundraising. It will be opened
to the public on February 27. If you have
issues there will be a designated time to
discuss those concerns with everyone at the
meeting.

Art is a powerful subject that teaches important skills to students. Youre your support
and cooperation we can help teach lifelong skills to your children. If you have any
questions do not hesitate to contact me. Your part in learning process is just as
important as mine maybe even more so to your childrens education.
