CLASS DESCRIPTION
The students in this elementary class are between 12-13 years old. They are in the fourth year
of English, so they are still learning English grammar and vocabulary. They have shown
enthusiasm and they seem keen on learn new things and words. They still have problems of
pronunciation, but they try to express themselves as well as they can.

Anticipated Problems:
The students may not read very well in English, they still have problems with the
pronunciation and they might not fully understand the requested tasks stated by the teacher
due to their little knowledge of the English language.

AIMS:
to revise their knowledge of the Present Perfect Simple and the Comparison of
adjectives
to complete tasks of vocabulary practice

OBJECTIVES: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:


use the vocabulary acquired in the previous class
use the Present Perfect Simple to write sentences
use the Comparison of adjectives to complete sentences
use their knowledge of the English language to solve different exercises

The teacher greets the students, checks attendance and makes sure that the conditions are
proper for the lesson to begin.

Writing
The teacher gives the students Worksheet no 1, with exercises from Snapshot Elementary
Language Booster. In exercise 1, students have to name the object, after they read its
description. In exercise 2, they have to look at a picture and complete the descriptions of the
people. In exercise 3, they have to write sentences about what Carl got for his birthday using
the prompt. The students conform and they begin to work in pairs. After they finish each
exercise, they come to the blackboard and write the answers.

The teacher assists students and corrects them if necessary.

Reading Writing
The teacher gives the students Worksheet no 2. They have grammar exercises. In exercise 1,
they have to write questions with ever and give answers with never in the Present Perfect
Simple using the prompts. In exercise 2, students have to complete the sentences with the
comparative and the superlative form of the adjectives. In exercise 3, students have to use the
chart and write questions with ever in the Present Perfect Simple. In exercise 4, they must
write questions and answers, after they read the information about the Statue of Liberty.

Students comply and, at the end of the exercise, they come to the blackboard to write the
answers.
